Infiniti Joins the Gas / Electric Hybrid Game

Infiniti, the maker of very luxurious cars is finally joining in on the green movement. Their offering is the 2012 M35h, which is 38% more fuel efficient than the regular V6 M35. The hybrid addition will allow for 9 extra city miles per gallon, and 6 extra highway miles per gallon, that translates to 27/32 respectively.

The M35h also will help you achieve
better fuel mileage in an interesting way...when the computer senses that you are not driving so green friendly, there will be more resistance in pushing the gas pedal down to draw your awareness to your driving habits. This can however be disabled by simply taking the car out of economy mode.

Starting price for the M35h will be $53,595. And, you still get a powerful 3.5L V6 paired the powerful electric motor that has 199 foot pounds of torque alone. The luxury is still present, as would be expected from an Infiniti...and it also comes with a smooth 7 speed automatic, manually shiftable transmission.
